DIRECTIONS

Apply onto skin before heading outside and again after a day of play to glean every benefit from having fun in the sun. Be sure to apply a generous amount to exposed skin. Reapply as often as needed. Reapplication frequency will vary based on individual skin type, UV index, water activities, sweat, and geographical location.

Sun yourself wisely. Start slowly but surely, and begin in the spring so that you may create a protective tan with phased-in exposure. Melanin is your natural base tan and helps prevent sunburn in the summer. Melanin is our ancient biological mechanism of photo-protection designed exclusively to support our relationship with the sun.

What are the concerns regarding synthetic chemical UV filters?
Synthetic chemical UV filters work by absorbing ultraviolet (UV) rays and converting them into heat. While effective, some concerns arise regarding their broader impact on skin health and protection balance.

Firstly, these filters efficiently block UVB rays, which are the primary wavelengths responsible for many beneficial biological functions, including stimulating Vitamin D synthesis in the skin. Secondly, a more significant concern for some formulations is their potential for unbalanced protection.
